Alternative für Deutschland – Comments on Positions about Islam

Commenting on selected excerpts, I attempt to bring to the attention of any person concerned several points that will prove to be of seminal importance in AfD’s effort to change misperceptions and to correct grave political errors committed over the span of several decades in Germany and across Europe. I therefore quote in German language some of the most renowned statements of Alternative für Deutschland and declarations made by first rank AfD party members, offer an English translation, and then expand.

  1. Der Islam ist an sich eine politische Ideologie“.

(Islam is in itself a political ideology.)

That’s right! Historical Islam and today’s “Islam” are two different entities. Whereas the former constitutes a religion and civilization, the latter is formed out of the succession of three theological systems (those of Ibn Hanbal, Ibn Taimiyya, and Abdulwahhab – all Sunni), which in their times (respectively in the 8th – 9th, 13th – 14th, and 18th c.) were rejected by Muslims as heretic, un-Islamic, and barbaric.

Today’s problem of the entire Islamic World hinges on the fact that, due to sociopolitical developments, the theological system of Ibn Taimiya prevailed and its gradual prevalence caused the elimination of other opposite systems and the confiscation of political institutions, including even that of the Ottoman Empire.

Another dimension of the problem is that Ibn Taimiya’s theological system affected all the denominations of Islam and, today, it is accepted by all Islamic religious authorities. As a theological system, it definitely contains a part concerning “political ideology”, which -at the times of Ibn Taimiya- was a catastrophic innovation in striking opposition to the earlier Caliphatic – Imperial Doctrine. The collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate is partly due to the propagation of Ibn Taimiya’s political ideology, which was the main reason for the erosion of the Imperial Doctrine within the Islamic World.

The discourse in which many Westerners try to polarize today’s Islamic religious authorities around ‘extremists’ and ‘moderates’ is nonsensical, as long as ‘extremists’ are defined as ‘Salafist’ or ‘Wahhabi’ (from the aforementioned Islamic theologian Abdul Wahhab) elements, and inasmuch as ‘moderates’ are identified as those rejecting the 18th c. theologian.

For Islamic ‘moderates’ to be truly moderate on the basis of evidence drawn from the Historical Islam, the condition sine qua non is total rejection of the theological systems of Ibn Taimiya and of Ibn Hanbal. There the dreams of the European and North American establishments will come to crash, because all the Islamic religious institutions that Westerners love to define as ‘moderate’ (ex. Al Azhar, Cairo) will have difficulty to reject and denounce Ibn Taimiya’s system.

  1. “eine politische Ideologie, die mit dem Grundgesetz nicht vereinbar ist”.

(A political ideology that is incompatible with the Constitution)

This is also very correct; in support of this claim, one has only to collect a plethora of statements, discourses, khutbas (Friday sermons before the Islamic prayer), interviews and publications of various ‘extremists’ and ‘moderates’ residing in Germany. One only risks coming up with the longest encyclopedia in the History of the Mankind!

However, this is a type of work that AfD has to carry out meticulously, because more people will be convinced in Germany and across the European Union, if abundant documentation comes to surface. This activity should not be left entirely in the hands of independent activists in the social media, because this effort will not gain momentum; contrarily, if a political party sets up a group of members tasked with the collection of documentation and the group committee highlights every week and every day the menacing words uttered on German and European soil against the German Nation, its Identity, Integrity, and Tradition, and against the European Civilization in its totality, things will change more rapidly.

  1. “Der Islam ist keine Religion wie das katholische oder protestantische Christentum, sondern intellektuell immer mit der Übernahme des Staates verbunden”.

(Islam is not a religion like the Catholic or Protestant Christianity but intellectually always associated with the takeover of the state.)

This is not very solid for various reasons.

First, Christian Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant History are full of evidence whereby “the religion is intellectually related with the takeover of the state“. This is very much part of the European past. From the Eastern and the Western Roman Empire, to the Holy Roman Empire, the State of the Teutonic Order and the kingdoms of Asturias and Aragon, religion was the quintessence of the state in Europe for almost two millennia.

Second, it is true that historically all the Islamic Caliphates, empires, kingdoms, sultanates, emirates, and khanates were states of divine rule, but this does not make them similar in anything with the form of state that today’s Islamists, Salafists and all other branches of Political Islam want to set up. Whatever major Islamic historical state one may study (Umayyad – Abbasid – Ottoman Caliphate, Andalusia, Fatimid Egypt, Safavid Iran, Mughal India, etc.), one will soon reach the conclusion that the Imperial Islamic Rule and Doctrine was very different from modern Political Islam. Pretty much like in the Eastern Roman Empire, there was no political life or “political ideology” properly speaking in the Ottoman Caliphate, the Safavid Empire or Mughal India.

To draw a parallel with the modern Christian World and help readers understand clearly this critical point, I would say that, if radical Evangelicals obtain political control in a Christian country tomorrow, their new regime will have a “political ideology”, but it will be very different from Justinian’s or Heraclius’ Eastern Roman Empire that did not have any ‘political’ life or ideology, being a ‘universal’ state and consisting in a real ‘Oecumene’.

So, the main problem of the above statement is that, in an indirect manner, it allows Salafists and all branches of today’s Political Islam “represent” the Islamic Past, whereas they do not; they oppose it! This is a colossal error from the part of Western intellectuals and political theoreticians, because by this they offer Islamic legitimacy to those who totally distort Islam.

  1. “Deswegen ist die Islamisierung Deutschlands eine Gefahr”.

(Therefore the Islamization of Germany is a danger.)

Yes, this is certain, but I am not quite sure what is herewith meant as “Islamization”. I am afraid this is again a truly great present made to all the extremists, radicals, terrorists and sympathizers. It is as I just said in the previous paragraph.

By identifying either Islamists and Political Islam or fake moderates (followers of Ibn Taimiya across the Muslim World) with Islam (which is only the evidenced Historical Islam), AfD gives them much wanted political accreditation and theoretical-ideological legitimacy. This is a calamitous, double mistake.

More precisely, it is historically inaccurate and politically catastrophic, because it gives the impression that AfD is directed against Islam, which in historical depth is not true, because AfD real opponents (i.e. Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists, Political Islam, and fake moderates) are not true Muslims.

I am afraid that, due to precipitated and incompletely assessed political developments (2001-2016), Western ideological confusion, and Orientalist academic biases, AfD makes the double error of

  1. seeing as Muslims those who are not true Muslims (i.e. Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists, Political Islam, and fake moderates) and
  2. considering Terrorism as the main characteristic of this realm or as the more threatening element of their beliefs, which is also false.

By getting rid of Orientalist fallacies, by reassessing the enormous documentation gathered in Western universities about the Islamic civilization as part of the Oriental civilizations, and then by contrasting the true historical data with the – only partly – assessed present political situation, one can easily conclude that things are very different.

It is not Terrorism that constitutes the main characteristic of, or the major threat emanating from, the Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists, Political Islam, and fake moderates; it is Barbarism.

To understand the extent of the danger that is currently menacing Germany and Europe, one has to make a working hypothesis; eliminate from the scene (in Europe and in Islamic countries) all those, who demand anything from Islamic states in Europe, brutal Islamization, and Islamic Reconquista to ‘mere’ Western respect for ‘religious freedom’, and replace them with all those, who reject Islamic extremism, radicalism and terrorism!

There are hundreds and hundreds of millions across the Islamic World, who are truly peaceful and definitely unpretentious; they want to live calmly and peacefully their simple daily lives in Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey or Germany. But, at the same time, they also

  1. force their wives to stay at home under the threat of a divorce (which is quite easy to arrange, as per the misinterpreted Sharia law: it is enough for a husband to say to his wife “I divorce you” three times!)
  2. force their wives to get dressed in niqab, when out of home
  3. teach their young boys to insult any uncovered young Muslim girl
  4. accept as normal that any Muslim man can get married with up to four women, when he cannot already fully address the needs of his family with the first wife
  5. develop and show great contempt with any Muslim who does not comply with his own lifestyle and breaks away from the socially imposed uniformity
  6. find it normal that a Muslim man makes a fake and deceitful marriage with a Western woman (at her unbeknownst), in order to move to Europe and within few years gather a targeted amount of money, and then divorces his cheated European wife, in order to return back to his country or origin and get married in the ‘true’, ‘Islamic’ fashion
  7. disregard practically speaking every form of Islamic Literature, Art, Philosophy, Science and Culture, viewing education as having only two legs, namely ‘Islamic’ (by which it is only meant the religious systems emanating from Ibn Taimiya’s theological system – as per the customary descriptions of the uneducated sheikhs belonging to either Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists and Political Islam or the fake moderates) and modern Western technological (in fact, their “Education” leaves 99.9% of true Historical Islam out of today’s pedagogical systems in the Islamic / Muslim countries.)
  8. have a total lack of interest or respect for the ‘other’, which ends up with the lack of a real civil society, and with the production of a very filthy material environment in their neighborhood
  9. reject to send to school their girls, while they find it normal to arrange profitable marriage deals for them (the bridegroom has to pay for the dowry) at a very young age
  10. are ready to literally kill their child if he/she decides to reject Islam and adhere to another religion
  11. deeply desire the establishment of a state that fully abides by the so-called theological principles of the Islamic terrorists and is governed as per the misinterpreted Sharia law, and
  12. want to remain out of the influence of any other idea, ideology, theory, philosophy, and way of life.

If I expand so much, giving few examples of life plunged in utter barbarism, I do it because I want to ask a simple question now:

  • Does it really make a difference that the “peaceful” and “unpretentious” person of my example totally and fully rejects Islamic Terrorism as an international political phenomenon, denies all brutal acts of war in Syria, Yemen and Libya, and dismisses the perspective of Islamic states as proclaimed by extremists in Europe and elsewhere?

I am sure that everyone will agree that it does not make any difference. Most of today’s Muslims live in Barbarism, Ignorance, Negativity, Counter-productivity, Apathy and Misery that they draw to themselves. This is the hotbed of the Islamic Terrorism.

It is therefore high time for people in Europe and worldwide to perceive the reality as it is and to evaluate the existing threat accurately in its real dimension: Barbarism, not Terrorism, is the core nature of the outright majority of today’s fake Muslims.

Today’s fake Muslims’ barbarism hinges very much indeed on total ignorance of the Islamic Civilization; this is a key point in understanding what has truly happened to two billion of Muslims.

Their religious authorities – all of them (Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists and Political Islam or the fake moderates) – keep the masses of today’s Muslims systematically disconnected from Islamic History, Philosophy, Art, Architecture, Science, Literature, Music, Spirituality and in the process they obliterate almost all elements of the Islamic Civilization, as it has been historically known. This is the main reason of the darkness that prevails in the minds of today’s average Muslims.

Why the religious authorities proceed so is easy to understand. As I already said, Historical Islam totally contradicts and opposes the nonsensical, tenebrous theological system of Ibn Taimiya that they know. First, today’s religious authorities do not know this material and they never studied it. Second, if Muslims have access to this material, the religious authorities will totally lose their influence on them, looking ignorant and incompetent to the eyes of the awakened Muslims.

This point must become a key tool of AfD policy in order to bring firth drastic change and serious damage to the plans or wishes of all Islamic terrorists, radicals and extremists or – to put it more accurately – of all pseudo-Muslim barbarians.

  1. “Symbole des Islams aus der Öffentlichkeit zu verbannen”.

(Symbols of Islam must be banned from public places.)

This is also correct. Furthermore, today’s Muslims know quite well that throughout Islamic History, whenever Muslims for various reasons (such as trade) lived in non-Muslim countries (like the Eastern Roman Empire and China), they were offered a small, separate district to stay, but outside that location they honestly and fully abided by the local rules.

However, it will be essential in this regard to interpret the demand of many Muslims for public display of their religious symbols. With the exception of Muslims in the Balkan region (Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey) whereby the Muslims are part of the native populations, Muslims in Europe are migrants who arrived to countries in which the symbols of the local religion were not (anymore) stressed. Their stance would be very different, if the European countries were more markedly Christian.

  1. “Wir sind für ein Verbot von Minaretten, von Muezzins und für ein Verbot der Vollverschleierung”.

(We are for a ban on minarets, muezzins, and full-face veil.)

Υour position is very right. Almost all the measures that AfD party members suggest here were implemented in a secular Muslim country, i.e. Turkey, at the times of Kemal Ataturk. Do not confuse the present situation in Turkey, when Political Islam managed to effectuate a strong and dangerous comeback through simulation policies and procedures, with the secular society policies that had been implemented in Turkey as early as the 1920s and the 1930s and which prevailed for many long decades. Turkey 2002-2016 proves very well that the entire Western system of Democracy and Civil /Human Rights is ill-defined and that freedom of religion can eventually be interpreted as Tyranny of Theology. If Erdogan manages to achieve his publicly undisclosed targets, he will still offer extensive ‘explanations’, pretending that the eventual Islamist Turkey is still a country that respects the freedom of religion!

In my proposals below, I will expand further on this point. European and American intellectuals, politicians, statesmen and analysts make a colossal error in this regard; the real criterion to evaluate the freedom of religion is not to be established by the conditions under which live the diverse, officially recognized, religious minorities of a country (ex. Christians and Jews in Turkey or Egypt). This is only a secondary criterion.

As litmus paper should be used the following three cases:

  1. non-officially recognized religious minorities (examples: 1-Alevis in Turkey; 2-Shia in Egypt: their situation is even worse because they make ca. 20-25% of the country’s Muslim population, but are not allowed to openly declare their identity), and more importantly,
  2. the irreligious people (in Turkey, they are about 10% of the population)
  3. the non-practicing followers of a religion (ex. secular Turks or Egyptians or citizens of any other Muslim country who find it quite pertinent to drink alcohol in Ramadhan, to walk by the seaside while wearing only their bathing suit, and to politely flirt with a girl in the streets). Because they don’t want to practice their religion, this does not mean that

– they should not deserve the same right (freedom of religion) as the rest,

– they should not be considered as relevant to this religion (Islam in Turkey) or as undeserving of proper representation at all levels, and

– they should not be asked to evaluate their country’s sociopolitical conditions and to state what they demand as an independent group.

When in Egypt, it is impossible to buy alcoholic drinks during the entire month of Ramadhan, one has to consider the local authorities as a terrorist Islamist government whatever the present administration may pretend in the international fora. In fact, their practices are mostly identical with that of the Fake Caliphate at Mosul-Raqqa.

When it comes to Turkey’s Muslims, “freedom of religion” for Erdogan in Turkey is the freedom of practicing Sunni Muslims.

But in real terms, when it comes to Turkey’s Muslims, “freedom of religion” – as they perceived it in their outright majority – is the freedom of the Alevis, the freedom of the irreligious, and the freedom of the non-practicing Muslims, for they constitute the absolute majority of the Turkish population.

Viewed through this perspective, which is the only real, “freedom of religion” has been uninterruptedly and shockingly violated for 14 years in Turkey (2002-2016) without anyone in Europe reacting!

What does “freedom of religion” mean for Turkey’s irreligious and non-practicing Muslims?

This is simple to answer by giving just one example whereas there are thousands of examples available! It means that we do not accept to wake up at 4:30 am because of the deliberate, vicious screaming of the muezzin, who invites the practicing Muslims for prayer.

Of great importance is therefore the Alevi judgment of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) which in its 66th paragraph states: “They maintained that this refusal implied an assessment of their faith on the part of the national authorities, in breach of the State’s duty of neutrality and impartiality with regard to religious beliefs“. (http://hudoc.echr.coe.int/eng#{“itemid”:[“001-162697”]} /  CASE OF İZZETTİN DOĞAN AND OTHERS v. TURKEY – Application no. 62649/10)

What happened in Turley over the past 14 years is this:

A political minority (i.e. the practicing Muslims who total ca. 15-25% of the entire Turkish population – Turkey’s Muslims total 99.8% of the country’s entire population) imposed their will on the outright majority (i.e. the Alevis, the irreligious, and the non-practicing Muslims) by usurping the political power (because many Alevis, irreligious and non-practicing Muslims voted for Erdogan for a wide array of reasons) and by pursuing extensive simulation policies and procedures, in view of the prospect establishment of an Islamic Republic of Turkey.

And this is exactly what the tenebrous and perverse followers of Salafism – Wahhabism, Political Islam and the fake moderate Islam want to implement in Germany and Europe over the next few years.

  1. “… wandte sich gegen die Vorstellung, dass es neben der fundamentalen Ausrichtung des Islams auch einen aufgeklärten Islam gebe, der mit der freiheitlich-demokratischen Grundordnung vereinbar sei”.

(Objected to the idea that, in addition to the fundamental orientation of Islam, there is also give an enlightened Islam, which is compatible with the free democratic basic order.)

This is partly correct. Yes, there is no “Enlightened Islam” … as a currently organized political force, and as an opposition (either in Europe or in the Islamic / Muslim World) to Salafism – Wahhabism, Political Islam and the fake moderate Islam.

However, there is a great number of uncoordinated elements of “Enlightened Islam” that AfD should first identify, second cooperate with, and third help rise in power. The most problematic point in this regard is neither the Western failure to take note of them nor the evident lack of coordination that does characterize these elements; in fact, due to the prevailing troubles caused by the rise of Salafism – Wahhabism, Political Islam and the fake moderate Islam, these elements have presently the tendency to be rather ‘dormant’. The reason is very obvious: they feel they are more endangered than AfD party members and followers, Germany in its entirety, and Europe.

By failing to identify the uncoordinated elements of “Enlightened Islam”, AfD only deprives itself of its right arm! This is definitely calamitous – anytime anywhere and under any circumstances whatsoever.

I could come up with a long list of names, but I am sure that AfD leadership and members are certainly aware of the subject. If Benazir Bhutto is not anymore among the Living today, former Turkish Premier Tansu Çiller is very much alive, but inactive: a mere member of the Council of Women World Leaders. The same concerns another former Turkish Premier, Mesut Yılmaz. The same is also true for Mohamed ElBaradei, the former Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. I would similarly name Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the incumbent leader of the major opposition party in Turkey, Selahattin Demirtaş, another opposition leader in Turkey, award winning authors like Orhan Pamuk and Kerem Işık, and many others.

My statement about the existence of uncoordinated elements of “Enlightened Islam” is also correct when it comes to masses. Already in Germany there are more than 1.5 million Turks; if AfD leadership sees them all as being pro-Salafist – pro-Wahhabi, pro-‘Political Islam’, and pro-‘fake moderate Islam’, AfD as a German political party commits a grave error; by so doing, they drastically weaken their own position and appeal, and this attitude will not help them achieve much in the direction they wish to go. A great number of Turks currently living in Germany are secular and very westernized; they have a totally different vision of Islam (than that of Erdogan’s AKP party), and they represent an Oriental-Occidental cultural amalgamation that has been quite typical of Turkish supporters and fans of the secular state of Kemal Ataturk.

Similarly, one can find in Italy, France and Spain hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of secular, westernized Maghrebins (Tunisians, Algerians, and Moroccans). Last but not the least, there are numerous secular, westernized Muslims in England either they originate from India or they come from the Black Continent.

Only AfD worse enemies would like AfD leadeship to make the mistake of considering the great number of secular, westernized, non-practicing or irreligious Muslims as definitely non-ascribed to an Enlightened Islam. They certainly are not coordinated; they do not represent one group; their opinions vary; their viewpoints diverge, but they all reject the fake Islam of the Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists, of the Muslim Brotherhood (Political Islam), and of the fake moderates.

  1. “Einen Euro-Islam gibt es in Wirklichkeit nicht”.

(In reality, a Euro-Islam does not exist.)

My comment here is similar with that in the previous point; yes, at this moment, there is no Euro-Islam, but all the constituent elements of a forthcoming Euro-Islam do exist, and AfD will greatly promote their own targets by contacting these people and by helping them setup an organizational structure and thus start challenging their monstrous opponents, who happen to be AfD adversaries as well, namely the Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists, the Political Islam, and the fake moderates.

  1. “Viele Muslime gehören zu Deutschland, aber der Islam gehört nicht zu Deutschland”.

(Many Muslims belong in Germany, but Islam does not belong in Germany)

This is also correct. Islam does not belong in Germany, pretty much like Shintoism does not belong in Germany either. However, at this point, there has to be a remark; the sentence makes clear that “many Muslims belong in Germany”, which automatically means that “not all the Muslims belong in Germany“. This is very correct indeed, and more particularly in view of the aforementioned; irreligious and non-practicing, secular Muslims definitely belong in Germany. It is therefore evident that, in the near future, AfD needs to provide people with a definition stating explicitly who among the Muslim Gastarbeiten truly belongs to Germany, and who do not. This will help AfD in the years ahead, because I am convinced that the departure of extremist elements from Germany and Europe must start before major disasters occur and irrespective of their official status or place of birth. And I want to believe that AfD definitely understands the need of perhaps kicking out of Germany up to one million people or even more. Being born in Germany, having German citizenship, and speaking German fluently are null in case of deeply anti-German and un-German mentality, mindset, attitude, behavior, and ideology.

  1. “Es ist notwendig, den Wildwuchs von islamischen Religionslehrern und Koranschulen, die privat finanziert werden, zu stutzen. Es muss Kontrollen geben, wer das finanziert und wer dort lehrt”.

(It is necessary to trim the proliferation of Islamic religious teachers and Islamic schools that are privately financed. There must be controls about who finances them, and who teaches there.)

This point is the very epicenter of the problem. If one fails to accurately perceive what happens, one will definitely be unsuccessful in contravening the ongoing phenomenon of gradual, almost indiscernible Islamist radicalization.

Before speaking about ‘religious teachers’, one has to clearly define the existing groups of Muslims; by this I do not only refer to denominations like the Shia, the Sunni, the Alevi (Turkish Alevis are not Shia: it is essential to avoid the confusion), etc. There are more groups concerned and I already mentioned them: irreligious Muslims are still Muslims. Non-practicing Muslims are also Muslims.

The past wrong assumption must take an end; it was a terrible mistake that allowed the problem get worse. By consciously becoming irreligious or by preferring not to practice their religion, Muslims do not go out of Islam. They simply take another stance toward established religion; but their stance is a different religious stance. As such, it must be viewed as one of today’s Islam’s components or constituent parts. Useless to add, this part of Islam must be fully represented and respected too, at all levels anytime anywhere.

It is therefore absolutely totalitarian and deeply undemocratic to send all Muslims’ children to religious schools whereby the teachers are either Salafi – Wahhabi Islamists or adherents the Political Islam or fake moderates.

As a matter of fact, in Germany, in Turkey, in every Muslim country, and in every country with a major number of Muslim immigrants, there have to be established religious-educational-cultural organizations of irreligious and non-practicing Muslims whereby they will promote, diffuse, teach and explain their vision of Islam, which is the hitherto missing “Enlightened Islam”.

These sociopolitical organizations must subsequently launch their educational institutions, and it goes without saying that with the necessary support, they will come up with schools, libraries, curricula and teachers in no-time. How will they achieve it? The answer is simple: by mobilizing the still lethargic masses of irreligious or non-practicing Muslims. It goes without saying that not one graduate from hitherto existing religious schools (either in Germany, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia or anywhere else) will be incorporated into the new organizations and institutions.

One has to anticipate that this development will create a “Great Schism” within Islam. The moment this schism is declared will be the beginning of the End of the Islamic Terrorism phenomenon.

Do not misread the above statement! The eradication of the evil phenomenon is not imminent and it will not be imminent, even when in every Muslim country a new pole of socio-political, educational, cultural, academic, intellectual, theoretical, ideological, political, artistic, religious, spiritual identification will appear in force. It is evident that strong Western support will be needed in many cases.

But then, the true battle will be engaged, and the conflict will stop being misplaced, as it will be duly and effectively contextualized. This clash is not a clash of civilizations or a clash of religions, but an internal clash between Barbarism and Civilization within Islam. And it was so for many centuries as one can understand, due to historico-religious and socio-political studies and researches focused on the gradual collapse of the historical Islamic Civilization during the times of the Ottoman Empire.

The evil phenomenon of gradual Islamist radicalization has also an important financial dimension, which can help explain much about how it has spread enormously within few decades. In every Muslim country, there is a Ministry of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) to which the governments allocate an at times enormous budget. Certainly, governments use these ministries as tools of internal security and control, but hidden amounts of money can be thence easily transferred to unknown recipients. In secular, Kemalist Turkey, the corresponding term is the so-called Diyanet, i.e. the Presidency of Religious Affairs (that does not have the status of a ministry).

There are many critical parameters in this regard, but here I mention it in order to show the abuse of public money made in still nominally secular Turkey. Although, Diyanet was established by Kemal Ataturk to encompass all the religions that exist in Turkey, it presently – under terrorist Erdogan – acts as presidency of Sunni affairs, because it finances only Sunni Muslim worship.

This means that Alevi, Bektashi, Câferî, irreligious, and non-practicing Muslims

  1. a) are not recognized officially,
  2. b) must ensure a financially self-sustaining running,
  3. c) don’t receive any funding, and – even worse –
  4. d) are forced to participate in the financing of the mosques and the salaries of Sunni imams, which is an outrage!

Now, one must not get confused with the term ‘irreligious’ (din karşıtı or dinsiz in Turkish); this represents only the average Turk’s profound and overwhelming, political – ideological rejection of the West-supported Islamist terrorist government of Erdogan. These ‘irreligious’ Turks have still Muslim personal names and, when dying, are buried in Muslim cemeteries. This reality imposes therefore that they also contribute to the shaping of Diyanet’s targets and policies.

In fact, the extraordinary Diyanet scandal must be internationally denounced and obliterated. An internationally supervised census should therefore take place in Turkey and the percentage of each socio-religious group specified; then, Diyanet budget should be allocated proportionally.

The extent of the problem is highlighted by the following data:

As of 2012, the budget of the crypto-terrorist organization Diyanet totaled more than US$ 2.5 billion!

In 2013, Diyanet’s budget represented

23% of the budget of the Turkish Army (NATO’s second largest standing army)

31% of the budget of the National Police

57% of the budget of the Public Hospitals

67% of the budget of the Ministry of Justice

79% of the budget of the Police

The budget allocated to Diyanet was

3.4 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Economy

2.9 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2.5 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism

2.4 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning

1.9 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology

1.8 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of Health

1.6 times larger than the budget allocated to the Ministry of the Interior

  1. “Das gelte insbesondere für Moscheen, in denen Imame aus Saudi-Arabien predigten und die von dort auch bezahlt würden. Nur wenn diese Verbindungen offengelegt werden, können die Verbindungen zu den Befürwortern einer strengen Religionsausübung in Saudi-Arabien gekappt werden”.

(This applies more particularly to the case of mosques where imams from Saudi Arabia preached and would be paid from there. Only when these connections will be disclosed, the links to the advocates of strict religious practice in Saudi Arabia will be restricted.)

Surely this statement brings owls to Athens! Saudi Arabia is the Islamist terrorist state par excellence. Every imam, German citizen or not, who set foot in Saudi Arabia must be immediately removed from his post and immediately expelled with his family to his father’s country of origin. The same should apply to imams who studied in Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Algeria and Pakistan.

While new religious – educational institutions with new, different curricula must be set up by irreligious and non-practicing Muslims, the existing schools should either be closed down or staffed with Russian, Azeri, Kazakh or Uzbek imams. Germany and other European should work closely with aforementioned Christian or Muslim countries that managed to drastically contain and effectively eliminate Islamic extremism, radicalism and terrorism.

It is also essential to understand that the Western concept of freedom of religion must be wholly reassessed in the light of its effective use by Islamists of all types, who through simulation policies and procedures have used freedom of religion in order to promote a fake-religion that rejects freedom altogether.

If Islamists managed to unleash an overwhelming tsunami of moral darkness and foremost barbarism, this is due to the fact that they played without opposition. Engaging irreligious and non-practicing Muslims against Islamists in Germany first will bring a colossal change and will stop Germany’s descent in the Nether World.

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of the Turning Point of Islam from Civilization to Barbarism – Part IV

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of the Turning Point of Islam from Civilization to Barbarism – Part IV

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

In three earlier articles published under the titles “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Misperceptions – Part I” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/23/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-misperceptions-part-i/), “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of Evil Theological Systems – Part II” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/24/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-ignorance-of-evil-theological-systems-part-ii/), and “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of the Barbaric Darkness of Ibn Taimiya’s theological system – Part III” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/25/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-ignorance-of-the-barbaric-darkness-of-ibn-taimiyas-theological-system-part-iii/), I first highlighted the Western ignorance of the Muslim World and more specifically the ignorance of the fact that the extremist way of life, mindset and belief are approved and shared by many hundreds of millions of Muslims in countries other than the evil cradle of Salafism / Wahhabism, i.e. Saudi Arabia; I called that dimension of Western misperception of the Islamic World ‘sociopolitical’.

c34

Then, I proceeded through a historical-religious analysis, emphasizing the putrefaction process caused to the Islamic religion by several Islamic theological systems that were considered heretic when they were incepted and preached, but managed to gradually survive and effectively prevail in our days among most of the world’s Muslim populations.

I then established a link between the three successive layers of alteration, distortion, falsification and barbarization of Islam caused by the theological systems of Ahmed ibn Hanbal (8th – 9th c.), Ahmed ibn Taimiyah (13th – 14th c.), and Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab (18th c.).

A most critical dimension of today’s global problem of Islam is the following: although only Saudi Arabia accepts today the heretic Islamic School of Jurisprudence of Ahmed ibn Hanbal (on which depend the other two ulterior theological systems), the theological system of Ibn Taimiya, a vicious heretic and an unconditional Hanbali, although fully rejected as tenebrous at the times of the Islamic Golden Era, is widely accepted today among Muslims, either Hanbali or Hanafi, Maliki, and Shafi’i – the three true and historically valid, and not heretic, Islamic Schools of Jurisprudence.

This in itself may not say much to the unspecialized readership. However, if one takes into consideration the fact that Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab – a barbaric and silly thug, a self-styled Muslim Hanbali theologian, and the founder of modern Wahhabism or Salafism – was the pupil of other ignorant theologians, who were the followers of the evil theological system of Ibn Taimiya, and thus became himself a staunch supporter of Ibn Taimiya, one understands clearly the present disastrous situation of the Muslim world.

So, it does not matter whether the entire population and the theological authorities of a Muslim country have contempt for Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab and reject Wahhabism or Salafism explicitly. It does also not matter whether they proclaim their adherence to the three rightful and lawful Islamic Schools of Jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, and Shafi’i) and reject ibn Hanbal’s system.

As long as they accept the abomination of Ibn Taimiya, all Muslims are affected by the Hanbali contamination either they realize it or not. In this case, their declaration of being Hanafi, Maliki or Shafi’i is absolutely worthless and cannot be possibly accepted by any shrewd investigator.

As long as they accept the theological obscenity of Ibn Taimiya, all Muslims are inclined to end up Wahhabists and Salafists sooner or later, because the fruit of Ibn Taimiya’s theological lawlessness and political fornication was Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab, the source of the iniquity and the villainous father of all illiterate, barbaric, heinous and villainous extremists, radicals, and terrorists.

The aforementioned historical analysis reveals something critical that both, Islamic terrorists and politically correct Western academia and politicians, have always tried to conceal; in a way, there were Islamic extremists and terrorists who, deeply plunged in illiteracy, ignorance, barbarism and hatred of the “Other”, carried out dreadful acts during the Islamic Ages. Islamic Terrorism is therefore nothing new, and basically it does not pertain to the theological system of Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab, but to the barbaric lawlessness of Ibn Taimiya, who antedated Abdulwahhab by five centuries and although Hanbali, is accepted by most of today’s Muslim theologians .

In this regard, it would be a colossal mistake for Europe, America and the Western World at large to perceive themselves as the true targets of the Islamic Terrorism. They are not, although there is a vast documentation bearing witness to declarations of numerous well-known terrorists and Salafi terror ideologists, who state that the countries of the West are their target.

In reality, terrorism is not the basic characteristic of the Islamic terrorists; barbarism is.

And as barbaric elements, they hate most the Sciences, the Arts, the Letters, and the Intellectual Life in its entirety; they abhor Philosophy, the Free Thought, the Investigative Spirit, and the Exploratory Mind. And they target above all Spirituality, Meditation, Contemplation and all the spiritual exercises and activities that de facto liberate the soul from the material-materialistic jail wherein all the Salafists and all the Islamic terrorists want to imprison it.

The historical dynamics of this deleterious movement has not yet been studied; this is due to the fact that the well anticipated conclusions are extremely harmful to the politically correct theories, attitudes and behaviors.

Pretty much like the followers of Ibn Taimiya destroyed Islamic Civilization within the Islamic World before 400-500 years, today’s Islamic terrorists and Salafists intend to bring down the World Civilization and replace it with an immense darkness, injustice, barbarism, tyranny and inhumanity.

d12

THE TURNING POINT FROM CIVILIZATION TO BARBARISM WITHIN ISLAM – THE TERRORISTS OF THE YEAR 1580!

d11

And here I reach the point with which I concluded the previous article. There is indeed a particularly critical moment, a specific date that can be taken as the turning point in the down spiral, from Civilization to Barbarism within Islam. This can be safely and accurately determined; it is 1580.

d10

What happened then and where?

d1

The fanaticized mob of Istanbul destroyed the Observatory of Istanbul, which was the epitome of the world’s most advanced techniques and technologies with respect to the Islamic Science of Astronomy and Astrology that were both viewed as one science and not two within the context of the Islamic World. The barbaric and abominable deed involved the destruction of thousands of manuscripts, the ruination of hundreds of astronomical instruments that were among the most advanced in the world, numerous killings, and all sorts of violent acts and catastrophes.

d2

The illiterate masses were guided by villainous and thuggish sheikhs and imams, who were the followers of the heretic system of Ibn Taimiya and therefore hated the Islamic Sciences, and more particularly the one that was considered as the supreme among them, namely Astronomy and Astrology. As per their silly beliefs and their misinterpretation of the Quran, which is an indispensable element of all barbarisms carried out in the name of Islam, the observation of the stars and the deduction of conclusions as regards the future are not permissible in Islam. This is of course an aberration.

d3

The barbaric masses and their uneducated sheikhs influenced the supreme religious authority, the sheikh-ul Islam, and demanded the destruction of the Observatory, claiming that the wrong prognostication of the Chief Astronomer and Astrologist was a curse sent by their otherwise fake god. As the imperial authorities were not influenced by the intellectual cholera of Ibn Taimiya, the Sultan did not want to destroy this valuable research center that enabled his country to compete at the international level in terms of science and research. Then, upon recommendation of an illiterate and dark mufti, the masses unleashed their evilness and in the course of manifestations they attacked and destroyed the Observatory of Istanbul.

d4

I herewith include three paragraphs from Wikipedia’s entry on Istanbul Observatory:

d5

In 1574, Murad III became the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. The empire’s chief astronomer, Taqi ad-Din, petitioned the Sultan to finance the building of a great observatory to rival Ulugh Beg‘s Samarkand observatory. The Sultan approved, and construction was completed in 1577, at nearly the same time as Tycho Brahe‘s observatory at Uraniborg.

d6

This observatory consisted of two large structures perched on a hill overlooking the European section of Istanbul and offering a wide view of the night sky. Much like a modern institution, the main building was reserved for the library and the living quarters of the staff, while the smaller building housed a collection of instruments built by Taqi ad-Din. These included a giant armillary sphere and an accurate mechanical astronomical clock for measuring the position and speed of the planets. With these instruments, Taqi ad-Din had hoped to update the old astronomical tables describing the motion of the planets, sun, and moon.

d7

The observatory did not survive to advance the development of astronomy in the Muslim world. Within months of the observatory’s completion, a comet with an enormous tail appeared in the sky and Sultan Murad III demanded a prognostication about it from his astronomer. “Working day and night without food and rest” Taqi ad-Din studied the comet and came up with the prediction that it was “an indication of well-being and splendor,” and would mean a “conquest of Persia”. Unfortunately, instead of well-being a devastating plague followed in some parts of the empire, and several important persons died. Taqi ad-Din was able to carry on his observations for a few more years but eventually opponents of the observatory and prognostication from the heavens prevailed and the observatory was destroyed in 1580. Other sources give the “rise of a clerical faction,” which opposed or at least was indifferent to science, and specifically to “the recommendation of the Chief Mufti” of the Ottomans, as the explanation for the destruction of the observatory.

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of the Barbaric Darkness of Ibn Taimiya’s theological system – Part III

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

In two earlier articles published under the titles “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Misperceptions – Part I” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/23/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-misperceptions-part-i/) and “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of Evil Theological Systems – Part II” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/24/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-ignorance-of-evil-theological-systems-part-ii/), I highlighted the Western ignorance of the Muslim World and more specifically of the fact that the extremist way of life, mindset and belief are approved and shared by many hundreds of millions of Muslims in countries other than the evil cradle of Salafism / Wahhabism, i.e. Saudi Arabia; I called that dimension of Western misperception of the Islamic World ‘sociopolitical’. Then, I proceeded through a historical-religious analysis, emphasizing the putrefaction process caused to the Islamic religion by the different Islamic theological systems, and I established a link between the three successive layers of alteration caused by the theological systems of Ahmed ibn Hanbal, Ahmed ibn Taimiyah, and Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab. In the present article, I will expand further on the nefarious impact that the barbarism of Ibn Taimiyah had on Islam as religion, spirituality, culture, and civilization.

As I described in the previous article, “Ahmed ibn Taimiya was the ugly and perverse child of his time“, meaning the period of the Crusades and the Mongol invasions that resulted in the destruction of Baghdad. In fact, his theological system was an introverted reductionism that triggered an overwhelming indifference for, and an abysmal hatred of, the “other”. These characteristics were intensified by ibn Taimiya’s followers who instructed Muslims to limit themselves to basics and to abstain from any contact with, or study of, the “other”.

c2.jpg

WHY TROUBLES GO DEEPER THAN MERE WAHHABISM: THE EVILNESS OF IBN TAIMIYA’S THEOLOGICAL BARBARISM
Of course, after the year 1291 (Fall of Acre), when the last Crusader was out of the Orient, the Islamic World recovered from the Crusades and the Mongol invasions, and continued to expand in terms of imperial power, advance in terms of civilization, and prosper in terms of economic recovery and wealth accumulation. But there were two main negative points that survived for some centuries, gradually spread across the entire Muslim World, and finally prevailed:

c9.jpg
A – The introversion gained momentum among the populations, irrespective of the success of the armies and the caliphs. It was combined with a genuinely un-Islamic reductionism (I mean of course ontological reductionism) as Ibn Taimiya followers – in order to control the masses – diffused the pathetic opinion that Philosophy, Arts, Letters and Sciences are useless, because “only few things are necessary for man to gain the ticket to the Paradise”: by hating and ignoring the “other” (which is a non-Islamic attitude and stance of life) and by preaching and diffusing this mindset, attitude and behavior, the followers of Ibn Taimiya addressed the fears, the sorrow, and the horror generated among the Muslims because of the Crusaders and the Mongols.

B – The bullying exercised by the masses that followed the theologians, who accepted Ibn Taimiya’s heretic theological system, started having an impact in the long run and progressively all the scholars, scientists, artists, architects, mystics, and philosophers came under attack, got dispersed, and disappeared.

For the first time, around the years 1350-1400, within Islam was formed a driving force which was pushing toward ignorance, darkness, hatred and barbarism.

c17.jpg

It is obvious that such evil force could not exist without targets. Even worse, the targets had to be close. Shia Muslims and Oriental Christians were the first to be targeted. Then, it was the turn of the mystics, the Sufis, the philosophers, the erudite scholars, the astronomers, the chemists, the architects, the poets, the intellectuals, and the artists.

An inherent element of the evilness of Ibn Taimiya’s system is uniformity; the hatred of the other – in and by itself – eliminates every chance for diversity. At the social level, this situation means that you cannot differ, because you then become the “other”, and you get subsequently targeted. This means that you cannot carry out experiments in Chemistry, you cannot make sidereal observations in the Observatory, you cannot meditate, and you cannot explore or study anything, because “only few things are necessary for man to gain the ticket to the Paradise” and because the quasi-totality of the population, who are ignorant and uneducated, are not involved in these activities. This means that, by being a genuine scholar, polymath, mystic, explorer, erudite intellectual, philosopher, scientist, architect, artist or author, you differ, you automatically become the “other”, and consequently you are immediately taken as target.

During those centuries many Muslim scholars, polymaths, mystics, explorers, erudite intellectuals, philosophers, scientists, architects, artists or authors were persecuted – not by the power of the Sultan and Caliph but – by the average people at the very local, social level; they were forced to stop their scientific, philosophical, artistic or spiritual activities, they were obliged to move to other countries, and they were killed. And a systematic disregard for the Islamic Spiritual, Intellectual, Academic and Scientific Heritage was imposed, so that average Muslims forget the Golden Era of Islam, i.e. the greatness that the filthy and evil minds of ibn Hanbal and ibn Taimiya were virtually unable to ever reach.

c22.jpg

Last, in cases of illustrious names of the foremost Islamic scholars of the Golden Era of Islam, the likes of al Farabi (Alpharabius), Muhyiddin ibn Arabi, ibn Sina (Avicenna), Nasir al Din al Tusi, ibn Rushd (Averroes), Al Ghazali, and others, they were all systematically, uninterruptedly and viciously denigrated, defamed and execrated by the uneducated, uncultured and sullen followers of the tenebrous theology of ibn Taimiya. This continues down to our times.

c20.jpg

As regards ibn Taimiya, he gave the evil example; speaking against al Ghazali, he said: “This Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, despite his brilliance, his devotion to Allah, his knowledge of kalam and philosophy, his asceticism and spiritual practices and his Sufism, ended up in a state of confusion and resorted to the path of those who claim to find out things through dreams and spiritual methods” (Majmu’ al-Fatawa, vol. 4, p.71).

c29.jpg

It goes without saying that this force destroyed the Islamic Civilization, driving the Muslim World to a bestial level of total insignificance around the years 1600-1700. For reasons which rather pertain to foreign affairs, not one caliph / sultan decided to oppose openly and drastically the force of darkness. We refer mainly to the Ottoman times now, because Sunni Islam in Europe, Asia, and Africa was multi-divided in the period 1300-1500, until Selim I (Yavuz Sultan Selim, the ‘stern’ one) reinstated the Caliphate in its magnitude. When the expanded Ottoman Empire was engaged in ferocious battles against Spain in Western Mediterranean, against Austria-Hungary in Central Europe, against Abyssinia in the Horn of Africa, and occasionally against Iran (and later Russia) in the East, it would be impossible for a Caliph (the Sultan) to trigger a deep social chasm by arresting the followers of the vicious, Satanic theological system of Ahmed ibn Taimiya and by declaring an open war against them. Sultans, in their majority, tried to basically rule against the dark ideas of these ignorant people, without turning openly against them.

selim I.jpg
Through the above, one can conclude that a great number of populations that traditionally belonged to and followed the Shaffi’i, Hanafi and Maliki schools of jurisprudence started being gravely affected and genuinely altered because of the socially forced diffusion of the villainous system of Ahmed ibn Taimiya, a Hanbali.

c32.JPG
In a way, viewed through a historical perspective, the diffusion of that system across 96-98% of all the Muslims’ territories (the rest 2-4% representing the Arabian Desert) represents a late and indirect form of Hanbalization of the Shaffi’i, Hanafi and Maliki schools of jurisprudence.

In fact, this process never stopped; it was only spread over and over.

c33.png

However, in the whole process, there is particularly critical moment, a date that can be taken as the turning point in the down spiral, from Civilization to Barbarism within Islam. This can be safely and accurately determined; it is 1580. Why this date is so important and what happened then in Istanbul are essential for the entire world to know, because today’s tragic events and terror attacks are only a mere reproduction of that ominous day.

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of Evil Theological Systems – Part II

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Ignorance of Evil Theological Systems – Part II

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

In an earlier article published under the title “Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Misperceptions – Part I” (https://megalommatiscomments.wordpress.com/2016/03/23/brussels-terror-attack-due-to-western-misperceptions-part-i/), I highlighted the Western ignorance of the Muslim World and more specifically of the fact that the extremist way of life, mindset and belief are approved and shared by many hundreds of millions of Muslims in countries other than the evil cradle of Salafism / Wahhabism, i.e. Saudi Arabia; I called that dimension of Western misperception of the Islamic World ‘sociopolitical’. In the present article, I will expand on the historical – theological dimension of the problem.

WESTERN MISPERCEPTION OF ISLAM – HISTORICAL / THEOLOGICAL DIMENSION

In fact, there is an even worse, overwhelming, and terrible deception imposed on all those in West who have no background in Islamic History, Islamic Philosophy, and Islamic Theology. It pertains to the use of the terms ‘Wahhabi’ and ‘Salafist’.

Several investigative analysts have already questioned a few important points, such the inextricable relationship between the Islamic terrorists’ ideology, i.e. Wahhabism, and Saudi Arabia’s official and totalitarian dogma, which is again Wahhabism.

It would look as if Saudi Arabia cultivated and exported the evilness of Wahhabism, and this is true indeed, but unfortunately, this conclusion covers only a tiny part of the problem. To understand the extent of the problem and why it does involve the greatest part of the Islamic World, one has to go back to History.

THEOLOGY vs. RELIGION

Meanwhile, one must manage to avoid traps that only help the terrorists continue their evildoing, because precisely these traps mislead the Western statesmen, military headquarters, academia, mass media, and public opinion in their evaluation of the present situation. The trap is that of accusing Islam itself as a religion of terror. Extensive historical research would easily and plainly prove the opposite, namely that the peak of the Islamic Civilization (and all the thousands of historically known Muslim polymaths, philosophers, erudite scholars, scientists, poets, artists, historians, authors, etc.) was totally devoid of any inclination toward violence, let alone terrorism.

Where does this trap hinge on?

The answer is simple; there is a subtle and yet enormous difference between two words that play here a determinant role: ‘Religion’ and ‘Theology’. All the religions – when systematized as dogma, doctrine and cult – are, usually, essentially transformed into theological systems that can be at times identified as very distant from the original religion.

Christianity offers many examples in this regard; the word ‘Trinity’ does not exist in the New Testament. Early Christians practiced Christianity without conceptualizing what later became the Trinity dogma of Christianity. It is only after St. Basil, Bishop of Caesarea of Cappadocia, wrote his lengthy theological treatise On the Holy Spirit (374 CE), which was accepted as doctrinal pillar of Christianity, that 4th century Christians were able at last to contextualize the third person of their religion.

Similar situations occurred in Islam, a religion that is based on one holy book, the Quran, and prophetic explanations and narratives usually called ‘traditions’ (Hadith in Arabic) that determine not only the aspects of spiritual life and human morality but also the details of socioeconomic life. In this regard, theological systematization and recorded application of the Islamic Jurisprudence ended up to an interminable typolatry (“the worship of the types of the religion”) very similar to what Jesus accused the Pharisees of (“Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”; Matthew 23:24). This attitude was proven unable to hinder the free development of Philosophy, Letters, Arts, Sciences, and Spirituality in the first six – seven centuries of the Islamic Era, but when the Islamic Civilization collapsed, typolatry prevailed overwhelmingly bringing forth putrefaction.

THREE THEOLOGICAL LAYERS THAT COMPOSE TODAY’S ISLAM

If you go to the Wikipedia, you will read that the terms Salafi and Wahhabi are almost synonymous and that Wahhabi means the follower of Muhammad Ibn Abdulwahhab (18th c.); they are categorized as Sunni, even by people like Karen Armstrong, but this is very, very false.

1. Muhammad Ibn Abduwahhab adhered to the evil theological system of Ahmed ibn Taimiya (13-14th c.). Today’s Salafists or Wahhabis adhere to that system too.

2. Ahmed ibn Taimiya adhered to the evil theological-jurisprudential system of Ahmed ibn Hanbal (8-9th c.).

3. Now, Ahmed ibn Hanbal is – today – considered as the founder of one of the so-called four (4) schools of Islamic Sunni Jurisprudence (Fiqh – you have to pronounce both, -q and -h).

All the sheikhs and all the muftis of Islam will tell you today that the four schools of Sunni Jurisprudence are: Hanafi, Maliki, Shaffi’i, and Hanbali – all terms are established after the names of several theologians (in chronological order: Abu Hanifa, Malik ibn Anas, Al-Shafi‘i, ibn Hanbal) who lived in the 8th and the 9th c. Indicatively: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiqh

This is a shameful lie.

fiqh.png

Certainly, in terms of present sociopolitical conditions, one can find followers of each of the above systems. If one consults existing maps closely, one will soon notice that Hanbalis are to be found – only – in Saudi Arabia!

The critical point, which is today concealed by both, the Muslim sheikhs or muftis and the politically correct Western academia, is that the Hanbalis were never truly accepted as genuine Muslims, civilized humans, and people of good faith by any Muslim in the 8-12th c., which was the peak of Islamic Civilization.

At those days, not one Islamic philosopher, erudite scholar, spiritual mystic, scientist, theologian, polymath, architect, artist or poet ever accepted Ahmed ibn Hanbal as an educated person, let alone as an accredited scholar and theologian. The true fact is that he was imprisoned as a barbaric and dangerous heretic and as an ignorant person, who would spread evilness and darkness among Muslims.

His followers were very few, vulgar, miserable, marginal, and disorderly elements. Across the (already then) vast Islamic World, the only location where they were accepted was the most uneducated, most uncivil, and most worthless part of the Islamic territories, namely the Arabian desert (they were not accepted then even in the Hedjaz, the Cordillera that spans from the South of today’s Jordan to the North of Yemen, i.e. where Mecca and Medina are located). One has to bear also in mind the fact that the Hedjaz, although important from a religious viewpoint (as a holy place where the Prophet of Islam lived), has never been in the Islamic Ages a recommended place for Letters, Sciences, Arts, Philosophy, and Imperial Prestige.

Ahmed ibn Taimiya lived outside Arabia and was a Hanbali, and as such he was imprisoned for felony, heresy, and barbarism. When he was free, in his speeches, he used to admonish his followers to attack personally all the Islamic philosophers, scientists, artists, architects, authors, poets and erudite scholars, because they all had absolute contempt and disdain for him, and his ignorance. Ibn Battuta, the illustrious traveler and author of Islamic Ages, describes that the villainous ibn Taimiya exhorted his followers to attack physically the followers of important Islamic philosophical systems who verbally disagreed with the nonsensical and immoral words that he used to utter. This behaviour prevailed among his followers after he died.

Taking into consideration that Ahmed ibn Taimiya was a Hanbali and that Hanbalis were an illegal group (and not an established and accepted school of Islamic Jurisprudence) at the time, one may ask how Ahmed ibn Taimiya managed to influence people in areas like Damascus where there were no Hanbali at all.

Ahmed ibn Taimiya was the ugly and perverse child of his time. During his life, the last Crusaders were kicked out of the Orient. However, the shock they had created was extremely negative and uniquely tremendous among Muslims, Christians, and Jews of the Orient. It was also the time when the epicenter of the Islamic Civilization, Baghdad, was destroyed by the Mongols. This generated a very negative attitude and aggravated introversion, which was at the antipodes of what the Islamic World had been for six centuries before the Crusades.

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Misperceptions – Part I

Brussels Terror Attack: Due to Western Misperceptions – Part I

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

I realize quite well the troublesome situation in which people in the West are. Their trouble is basically due to ignorance, and the ignorance of the people in the West is multi-leveled.

People in the West don’t know what happened in the 14-century long history of the Muslim nations – which can be understood to some extent, because not all the people will become historians in their daily life. Yet, people in the West had to have got a brief diagram and the diagram had to be correct. This is about the past; and it is the first point. The second point is even worse.

z7

WESTERN IGNORANCE OF THE MUSLIM WORLD

At the same time, people in the West don’t know what truly happens now in the Muslim World, and this cannot be understood because there are many correspondents, journalists, analysts, writers, specialized experts, etc. People in the West get only a wrong picture, a very partly and absolutely superficial picture of what truly happens in the Muslim World now. Then, the wrong picture is that of a calm realm – an image that duly plunges the Western people into anything from indifference to apathy; the consequence is that all of the people in the West feel calm and they thus ignore the reality, which – put in exact terms – is that an enormous tsunami is coming against them. In fact, the earthquake that triggered the tsunami already happened.

This is not a fresh understanding for me; I already knew it long before I wrote my articles in favor of Pope Benedict XVI and against the false Muslims who angrily attacked him in 2006.

For reference, I herewith mention several titles:

Benedictus XVI may not be right, but today’s Muslims are islamically wrong!

https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t328943/

Lord Carey, Benedictus XVI, and today’s decayed Islam

Can Benedict XVI bring Peace and Concord?

http://www.afroarticles.com/article-dashboard/Article/Can-Benedict-XVI-bring-Peace-and-Concord-/18625

But now, it is 2016, and the entire West seems to be engulfed in the same false representation of the Muslim World which is quite dangerous for global peace and safety.

There is a top issue that must be clear beforehand; for every problem, for every subject there is a dual reality. The basic and therefore lower level of reality is the problem itself, the subject in question. The most important and therefore upper level of reality is your perception of the problem.

Whatever the problem may be, if your perception of it is true, accurate and exact, you have the intellect to eliminate the problem.

However, even if the problem is minor, but your perception of it is false, confused and misplaced, your own calamitous perception of the minor problem will certainly deteriorate it, aggravate your condition, and trigger a very dangerous development altogether.

Quite unfortunately, the Western World’s perception of today’s Islamic (Muslim) World is totally erroneous. Even worse, it is not based on the true data.
To my eyes, it is as if one mysterious and unseen force, an invisible hand, tries to prevent the Western World’s accurate and comprehensive information on the subject.
THE MYTH OF THE POLITICALLY CORRECT LANGUAGE MUST TAKE A DEAD END
The very few intellectuals and academics, who happen to write about the reality, get either defamed or discredited or marginalized or concealed. This is the case for instance of Kamel Daoud (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamel_Daoud) who focused on the sexual behavior as attested in several Muslim societies of today, i.e. a small but still essential part of today’s Muslims’ behavioral system.
Those few, who write about the abysmal reality of today’s Muslim World, get systematically attacked by the “guardians of the system” (e.g. academics, intellectuals, politicians and statesmen) who seem to have an interest in keeping the Western World (and the outright majority of the people in the rest of the world) in mysteries. To impose their fake, vicious and catastrophic legitimacy, the “guardians of the system” impose the myth of political correctness, a most repugnant idiocy geared to besot many. Kamel Daoud happened to write an insightful about the reasons that caused the numerous and terrible cases of sexual harassment in the streets and the squares of Cologne, Germany during New Year’s Eve (an absurd situation with more than 600 cases in just one … night). Then, a group of academics (all Western and seemingly Christian) specializing in Islam and the Orient in general wrote against him in a provocative manner in order to discredit him and keep the people in darkness about what truly exists in most of the Muslim World.

These cruel masters of falsehood are the Western World’s worst enemies, and their actions must be placed under surveillance. Any wrong approach to the reality of today’s Islamic World has a direct impact on the perception of this world in the West, and therefore affects the Western World’s decision making process with respect to the system from where the real, evident and grave danger originates. These criminal and false doctors and academics should not therefore be held responsible for mere academic mistakes but for causing existential threats against their own countries; it is therefore a matter of high treason in their case.
WESTERN MISPERCEPTION OF ISLAM – SOCIOPOLITICAL DIMENSION

Part of the prevailing in the West misperception of the Muslim World has a lot to do with sociopolitical confusion. The use of maps plays here a certain role; people in the West know that there are different countries like Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, etc.; and this is correct. People also know that the Saudi daily reality consists in an abominable barbarism, involving butchery, systematic rape, bestial mistreatment of the women (i.e. half of the population), extensive pedophilia that goes always unpunished, slavery, multifaceted discrimination, and unprecedented persecution, systematized disinformation, imposed ignorance, and overwhelming darkness.

But people in the West do not know that there are many other countries where most of the local population definitely share the same Saudi practice and (fake Islamic) belief, mindset, attitude and behavior, not at the political but at the social level.

This is the trouble: in many Muslim countries that appear to the rest of the world as having a political system (saying ‘more liberal’ would be sarcastic) more human than Saudi Arabia’s (example: Egypt, Algeria, Pakistan, Indonesia), there is an outright majority of the population (much above 3/4 of the country’s Muslims if we refer to Egypt, which means more than 70% of the country’s total population) that accept the daily life in Saudi Arabia as normal, correct, human, and Islamic; and consequently, they live accordingly in their own country by using all possible tricks of social oppression to which the supposedly more liberal state does not express any opposition. This means that all the aforementioned intolerable conditions of miserable life prevail among hundreds of millions of Muslims. This has nothing to do with politics (i.e. being pro-Muslim Brotherhood or pro-army in Egypt); the majority of those supporting the army regime in Egypt share absolutely the same way of backward thought, intolerable world view, and miserable lifestyle with the Saudis.

This leads to total misrepresentation of those countries at the international level, which is a form of direct cheating of the West. Before 5-6 years, as I lived in Egypt, I used to say that the fact that Mubarak’s wife did not wear the Islamic veil (hijab) was -in and by itself- a serious act of political deception addressed against the West.

Why was Suzanne Mubarak’s attitude a vicious cheating cycle against the West?

Because more than 3/4 of Muslims in Egypt would call any unveiled / uncovered woman a “prostitute”, which in turn automatically means that they believe that stoning must apply to her because of her ‘act’ not to wear a veil. So, instead of Suzanne Mubarak giving the West the false impression of an emancipated woman (which was – among Westerners – subconsciously extended from the person to the country’s overall female population), she should have taken initiatives to oppose and outmaneuver all those who imposed the wearing of hijab on all the Muslim women by means of social terrorism at the very cell of the society, namely the localities, the districts, the villages, the hamlets and the families.

What Egypt needs now – Part II. An Existential Threat must be Thwarted

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

In an earlier article titled ‘What Egypt needs now – Part I, Sinai’, I suggested a series of measures that the Egyptian government must take immediately to make sure that civil order and concord will prevail in the area and nationwide. These measures are expected to thwart an existential threat against Egypt’s national integrity. The existing threat is very real and the dangers tremendous. In the present article, I will reveal covert insinuations made by a key Israeli minister, proceeding through textual analysis. These hints do not augur well for Egypt’s territorial integrity and must therefore be taken very seriously.

When Supreme Forces are pushing to Change Borders….

The first reactions of the Egyptian government seem good, but very limited, short-termed, and rather atrophic. Egypt must be out of the process of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations; this is true and correct for all intents and purposes. One can even say that there was no need for such carnage so that finally an Egyptian government understands that the country’s position is in Africa and not in Asia, and that any sort of involvement in Palestinian, Levantine or Asiatic troubles does not bode well for Egypt’s interests, perspectives and future.

Establishing a buffer zone is certainly a good measure, but it will bring only minimal results; the last bomb explosion was a false flag attack, and the criminal Zionist state is the only to be held responsible for this. Any sound mind can assess this reality immediately. As irrevocable conclusion, it is even corroborated by the texts and the articles of the Zionist press – if they are attentively read and scrupulously interpreted.

For the Egyptian government, accusing Hamas for the tragic incident has only one useful dimension, namely to deceive the Israelis by pretending that the Egyptian government does not believe that the responsible was ultimately the Zionist state. This dimension would certainly make sense.

However, for any Egyptian authority to truly believe that it was carried out by a Hamas unit in cooperation with local elements is tantamount to suicide. The reason for this is the fact that it was not Hamas, but Israel, and this will be proved correct, because the measures taken, if they are not accompanied by must greater and more systematic measures (like those suggested in my previous article) will fail to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Worse, if the measures I suggested in my earlier article (https://megalommatis.wordpress.com/2014/10/26/what-egypt-needs-now-part-i-sinai/) are not taken as soon as possible, Israel will take the destabilizing game deep inside Egypt, and similar tragic incidents will be reproduced in the greater Cairo area and in Upper Egypt. The reason for this is very simple; Israel has already established a highly sophisticated network of agents across the country (without most of them even knowing that they are working for the Zionist state) and, in addition, has stored in many locations across the Sinai Peninsula material that is necessary for the false flag attacks that the Mossad intends to carry out across Egypt.

It takes only a deep understanding of the Language of Falsehood (which is as real as English, Arabic, Russian and any other linguistic entity) in order to interpret correctly the Zionist ministers’, generals’, academics’ and journalists’ speeches and thus understand that Egypt is directed targeted now.

A brilliant example is offered by the filthy pig Moshe Ya’alon – who should be mercilessly lynched and literarily dismembered alive for scores of Crimes against the Mankind. The Israeli minister of Military Affairs said in a recent interview with the US-based National Public Radio (NPR) that the current borders of many Middle Eastern countries are bound to change in the future as a result of recent developments in the region.

He then went on offering his paranoid logic about the development and specifying the following: “Libya was a new creation, a Western creation as a result of World War I. Syria, Iraq, the same — artificial nation-states — and what we see now is a collapse of this Western idea,” he stated. Feeling the need to best cover his intentions, he also added the following: “We have to distinguish between countries like Egypt, with their history. Egypt will stay Egypt”.

For someone so well prepared to be the top gangster of the criminal Zionist entity (the Fake State of Israel), i.e. the minister of Military Affairs, Modern Political History is a perfectly well studied subject, and to him all the events are known in foremost accuracy.

On this occasion, a shrewd commentator expressed a great part of irony as regards Moshe Ya’alon’s interview, epitomizing the truth as per below:

“The minister did not say whether the borders of Israel, also drawn by Western powers after World War I, would change or not ” (http://www.veteranstoday.com/2014/10/24/middle-east-borders-bound-to-change-israel-minister/).

Moshe Ya’alon (born Smilansky – of Ukrainian father) fought as a reservist in the Yom Kippur war (1973) and “on October 15, 1973, his unit became the first IDF unit to cross the Suez Canal into Egypt. He continued fighting as part of the Israeli drive into the Egyptian mainland, and participated in the encirclement of the Egyptian Third Army” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moshe_Ya%27alon).

And this is Neo-Nazi gangster Ya’alon’s latest racist measure and policy:

http://www.darkgovernment.com/news/segregated-bussing-plan-for-palestinians-and-jews/

What did the Smilansky Ashkenazi Khazarian pig really say in his interview?

First, what are the ‘recent developments’ due to which borders will change across the region as per Ya’alon words? One might suggest that he refers to what happens currently in Iraq and Syria with the emergence of the Fake Caliphate. But no, this is wrong. The inner structure of his thought makes it clear that he includes Libya into this subject (‘the recent developments’); so we can safely claim that to him ‘recent developments’ is a code term for what is rather called across the global mass media as ‘Arab Spring’. So, we conclude that, when he says that ‘the recent developments’ will bring about ‘changes of borders’, Moshe Ya’alon includes Egypt, since the country was deeply affected by the Arab Spring covert operations.

But the gangster minister said much more in his interview, fully demonstrating that he views the country of the Nile as a candidate for the forthcoming border changes; in any case, ‘many’ countries are subject to this perspective, according to Ya’alon’s words.

Allusions are highly revered literary schemes in the Language of Falsehood that Zionists and Freemasons speak without the rest being able to decipher their covert messages and hints. Do you have a doubt that Moshe Ya’alon, except from being a Zionist, is also a Freemason? The picture published in the aforementioned entry of the Wikipedia (which certainly has his approval and definitely incorporates his recommendations) shows him with his Canadian and English counterparts, Rob Nicholson and Chuck Hagel, in a typically Freemasonic gesture of shaking hands (picture retrieved as of today).

Yaalon Nicholson Hagel

What is the allusion embedded in Ya’alon aforementioned interview?

He said: “Libya was a new creation, a Western creation as a result of World War I”. This is of course wrong! Totally wrong! Libya was detached from the Ottoman Empire by Italy during their 1911 war, which occurred 3 years before WW I started.

Now, if you believe that Moshe Ya’alon simply made a mistake or did not know what he was talking about, you are an idiot, and you should immediately stop reading the present text, because it will be worthless to you.

So, Libya was not ‘a Western creation as a result of World War I’.

This means that when Ya’alon continued saying ‘Syria, Iraq, the same — artificial nation-states — and …’, he already knew very well that Syria and Iraq were not detached from the Ottoman Empire in the ‘same’ way as Libya. Why did he make then this mistake?

A first approach may be for any interpreter and analyst to think that the Israeli minister wanted to insinuate that Libya’s borders will change pretty much like those of Syria and Iraq, which have already de facto changed due to the emergence of the Fake Caliphate.

But if this were his intention, Ya’alon would stop there. As he did not, and went on involving other countries as well, we can be sure that Libya was not the point he wanted to make.

So, in fact, establishing a wrong parallel between Libya and Syria-Iraq was not a proper mistake for Ya’alon, but it served him as an allusion.

– To what did Libya serve him as an allusion?

– Evidently to what Ya’alon would never say explicitly.

– How can we identify the object of his allusion?

– By searching for further elements in his interview namely countries that are possible candidates for border change; in this regard, Syria and Iraq are automatically excluded, because the change has already occurred in their cases.

– What further element is left in Ya’alon’s interview?

– Egypt.

However, in his interview, Ya’alon makes about Egypt an interesting juxtaposition; he says: ‘we have to distinguish between countries like Egypt, with their history. Egypt will stay Egypt’.

This appears to be in contrast with what was previously said about Syria, Iraq and Libya, namely that

  1. they are ‘artificial nation-states’, and
  2. in their case we see now ‘a collapse of this Western idea’.

The top rule of the Falsehood Language is ‘never to say the truth in public’; the second rule is the same said reversely, namely ‘to always say a lie in public’.

The fact that what Ya’alon says about Egypt in his interview is a lie we can understand through close examination of his words that reveal plenty of inconsistencies and inaccuracies.

What are “countries like Egypt, with their history”?

If this was said comparatively to Libya only, it would perhaps draw some importance. Libya was never the heartland of huge empires, important kingdoms or expanding caliphates. However, when countries like Syria and Iraq are involved in the discourse, the statement becomes meaningless and worthless, futile, erroneous, and therefore suspicious. Syria and Iraq have a greater historical past than Egypt.

A brief historical comparison involves the following:

1- the earlier beginning of civilization and writing in Mesopotamia – Sumer (around 300 years before Egypt),

2- the greater political – military expansion and cultural radiation of Mesopotamia – Akkad, Assyria and Babylonia (covering more than two millennia),

3- the equal importance of both lands at the times of the Seleucid and Ptolemaic empires (Alexander’s Epigones),

4- the equal importance of the two respective theological schools (Antioch in Roman Syrian and Alexandria in Roman Egypt) within Christianity, and last

5- the far greater role for Syria and Iraq within the context of Islamic History (Damascus and Baghdad were far more influential than Cairo in any aspect).

Finally, both territories (Syria – Iraq & Egypt) became part of the Ottoman Empire at the same time (early 16th c.) and were detached in the same manner (colonial, Anglo-French detachment).

We can therefore conclude that this is totally false, and when said by a top Israeli military, it consists only in a useful lie.

The same concerns for the term used for Syria, Iraq and Libya, namely ‘a new creation’ and ‘artificial nation-states’. In fact, Libya and Egypt were fabricated in exactly the same manner: colonial interference and detachment from the Islamic Caliphate – Ottoman Empire whereto both lands belonged.

In fact, if there is a contrast among the four countries mentioned by the Israeli minister, i.e. Libya, Egypt, Syria and Iraq, we have on one side Egypt and Libya (detached during direct foreign, colonial interference / pretty much like Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Morocco, Aden, Oman, Emirates) and on the other side Syria and Iraq (invaded and occupied during WW I as consequence of the fact that the Ottoman Empire and England were members of opposite alliances / pretty much like Lebanon, Palestine, ‘Jordan’, Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait and Qatar).

If Libya is ‘a new creation’ (1911), so is Egypt (1798) too.

If Libya, Syria, and Iraq are ‘artificial nation-states’, so is Egypt too.

One may eventually hypothesize that the Israeli minister referred to the different ethnic-religious groups attested in the case of Syria and Iraq (Sunni, Shia, ‘Kurds’, Turkmen, Aramaeans, Yazidis and others). However, this is not attested in Libya whereby homogeneity is greater (there are only Berber-speaking and Arabic-speaking Libyans), and yet the Israeli minister categorized Libya with Syria and Iraq.

One understands how intriguing the Israeli minister can become, if one takes into consideration that ethnic-religious groups exist in Egypt as well, namely Berbers in the West, Bedouins in the Sinai (systemically called ‘Arabs’ by the Zionist state – and this is both false and fallacious), Nubians and Beja in the South, and in addition, Christians (erroneously called Copts – in fact, all Egyptians are Copts), Sunni and Shia Muslims.

So, if so many elements of Minister Ya’alon’s interview are false, what did he want to say?

The answer is simple.

It is all about an allusion that he wanted to make.

First, he made it clear that the Zionist state and the forces that support it want a definite change of borders in the Middle East. This does not concern Syria and Iraq anymore, because there border change has already occurred. In addition, Minister Ya’alon did not limit his discourse to only that area where he could eventually specify details (about ‘Kurdistan’, etc.) without however referring to other countries.

Second, he used Libya as an allusion to many aspects that characterize Egypt in the way the Zionist state views the country of the Nile (: new creation, Western creation, artificial nation-state, collapse of the underlying Western idea).

Third, he denied the truth that is hidden in the backside of his mind, by excluding Egypt from the picture. In fact, no one asked Minister Ya’alon to exclude Egypt from the picture. He could have just avoided any mention. He could have mentioned Yemen, Arabia or other countries instead, but in this case he would have not conveyed the message he wanted to convey to his Freemasonic and Zionist audiences across the Earth.

This automatically suggests that, if we want to understand him clearly, we have to conclude that he basically referred to Egypt as the next target for border change.

However, it would be a mistake to imagine that the rogue gangster who impersonates Israel’s Minister of Military Affairs is the only person to use this terminology and these figures of speech in order to convey similar messages. The Israeli is press and mass media in general are full of examples of similar insinuations and hints – on daily basis.

For their criminal interests and genocidal plans, it is only normal that they do their best to confuse the picture and mislead the Egyptian authorities. The Sinai Peninsula has become an urgent affair for the Zionist state. This is at least what the recent articles of professional liars and forgers like Elhanan Miller and Avi Issacharoff reconfirm (http://www.timesofisrael.com/egypt-suspends-hamas-israel-talks-following-sinai-attack/?utm_source=The+Times+of+Israel+Daily+Edition&utm_campaign=6b82096a7c-2014_10_26&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_adb46cec92-6b82096a7c-54783545 and http://www.timesofisrael.com/the-woes-of-an-egyptian-churchill/?utm_source=The+Times+of+Israel+Daily+Edition&utm_campaign=6b82096a7c-2014_10_26&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_adb46cec92-6b82096a7c-54783545).

It is therefore high time for the Egyptian administration to take all measures needed in order to totally block the Zionist infiltrators and agents out of the Sinai, and thus preserve the country’s territorial integrity.

What Egypt needs now – Part I, Sinai

What Egypt needs now – Part I, Sinai

By Prof. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

With the bomb explosion that killed more than 30 soldiers and triggered the proclamation of a 3-month state of emergency across North Sinai Governorate, came to an end all the dreams that the newly elected president El Sissi would assuredly put Egypt back on the correct path and quickly reinstall order as it had been before the thunderous Friday 28 January 2011, the day that shook former president Mubarak’s regime from its foundations.

What most people fail to notice is the timing of the tragic event; occurred after the collapse of Sanaa, the Yemenite capital, to the Houthi rebels of Yemen’s extreme North, the bomb explosion took place after more than a month of fighting at Kobani (Ayn al Arab) in North Syria, and while chaotic strife has been attested across the region from Libya to Gaza to South Sudan. The news in detailed and accurate form can be found here: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/world/2014-10/25/c_127139288.htm and http://www.rt.com/search/everywhere/term/egypt/

It was therefore only normal for Juan Cole to wonder whether Egypt’s Sinai is going the way of Syria (http://www.juancole.com/2014/10/egypts-troops-militants.html).

Why Israel needs to detach the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt

The aforementioned is enough for any objective observer to realize that the next stage for destabilization in the region will take place in Egypt. This is at least what events of such scale suggest. It can really become an inferno quite soon, if one takes into consideration the explosive situation at the ground and the existing parallel plans providing for chaos, fratricidal conflicts, and ultimate dismemberment of the country. These plans are very real and very serious; they have little to do with the globally evident advocates of the decomposed but not defunct Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al Muslimeen). The real composers and promoters of the anti-Egyptian schemes are not as ostensible as Qatar and Turkey are, and to deceive many, they usually appear as rather recommending if not applauding Egypt’s stance in regional affairs.

Destabilization in the Sinai Peninsula is certainly part of Israel’s medium term targets; the racist governments of the Zionist state are currently engaged in a dramatic search for a sizeable hinterland. The reason is simple; their illegal entity stands on a very small piece of land that forces them not to make concessions in order to achieve peace with those among the Palestinians who are ready for a final ‘peace for land’ deal. In this, the Zionists are ‘technically’ right; a state as small and narrow as Israel was within its 1967 borders is really indefensible in the 2010s.

But the anxious character of Zionist journalists like Matt Lee and Joshua Davidovich when writing about the currently troublesome US-Israeli relationship (http://www.timesofisrael.com/us-officials-israel-defense-chief-denied-meetings/?utm_source=The+Times+of+Israel+Daily+Edition&utm_campaign=5f63cc2285-2014_10_25&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_adb46cec92-5f63cc2285-54783545 & http://www.timesofisrael.com/us-reportedly-denies-yaalon-request-to-meet-with-kerry-biden/?utm_source=The+Times+of+Israel+Daily+Edition&utm_campaign=5f63cc2285-2014_10_25&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_adb46cec92-5f63cc2285-54783545) reveals that the Zionist state authorities feel clearly that they should not rely exclusively of US support for their future plans. The recent visit if Israel’s Minister of Defense in the US was an opportunity for the American administration to humiliate a cumbersome ally which proves to be otherwise useless for the changes that the US administration intends to impose on the wider region.

To the rapacious Zionist authorities, the Sinai Peninsula – three times the size of Israel – offers a wonderful opportunity for retreat, involving extensive transfer of populations, extensive capabilities for successive defense lines, and lengthy coastal zones already equipped with a really great tourism infrastructure. More importantly, the local population does not exceed 400000 people (almost one fifth – 1/5 – of the population of Gaza strip) with no major urban centers except Al Arish that totals more than 25% of the entire peninsula’s population.

As it is expected that many people will emigrate to Egypt, if Sinai is declared independent or autonomous under a vague Bedouin ‘political control’ (which would be a euphemism for the Israeli protectorate), it will be very easy for the Zionist military and security forces to implement an undisputed control in the new Eldorado of Zionism. Only then, the Zionist political class will show ‘magnanimous’ enough to concede to the Palestinian Authority all the territories occupied in the 1967 war, with some specific arrangements to be made for the status of Jerusalem (international city and common capital of the three Abrahamic faiths).

The Zionist state’s commitment to the ‘Sinai for Israel’ scenario however contravenes certain American plans for the wider region, and this generated the currently escalating US-Israeli diplomatic row. America wants to force Palestinians and Israelis to sign a final agreement involving land concessions; Israel cannot accept this before a retreat possibility becomes a reality; this produces further instability in the Sinai because the only means chosen by Israel is simulation; and this increases the instability in the peninsula where US operatives already implement divergent plans.

The time schedule is therefore tight, because the Zionist state needs to have results in the Sinai before the obstinate Israeli rejection of US pressure toward a final ‘land for peace’ agreement with the Palestinian Authority damages the US-Israeli relationship irreparably.

The annexation of Sinai by Israel will be a very easily done job because the Zionist populations have learned how to be new settlers here and there, can afford cold winter, mountainous environment, and harsh conditions of life for a certain period of time, whereas they can rely on an inexorable financial backing that dwarfs all the dire needs that may be ensuing from a massive population transfer in otherwise inaccessible regions. In other words, Israeli cities on the rocky mountains of the Sinai would be a rather cost-efficient expansion.

Can Egypt oppose Israel’s plans in the Sinai Peninsula?

To this hypothetical question there can be only one answer. In fact, theoretically, every threat can be timely averted if timely assessed. At this very moment, it is not clear whether the rulers of Egypt clearly understand that in the Sinai Peninsula the major threat comes from Israel, and not from America, Europe or the … Islamists. The latter are mere agents of the secret services of some Western countries; by themselves they do not constitute a decision making center – pretty much like Al Qaeda or ISIS/ISIL, the fake caliphate.

In fact, the timing and the extent of the recent explosion clearly indicate that it cannot be America. At present, the US do not harbor destabilization plans for Egypt’s northeast where the Sinai Peninsula lies; the US would rather prefer security, calm and peace to prevail in that specific region, because these are prerequisites for Egypt to keep the Gaza border open, and this is exactly what the US wants in order to revitalize / reequip / reinforce (not directly but via proxies) Hamas, a valuable tool for US pressure over Israel. But now, Egypt closed the Gaza border, which is exactly what Israel needs.

The relatively recent sort of Zionist literature as per which Israel’s real allies under the current circumstances are Egypt and Saudi Arabia (and not the US and Europe) represents a tool for the Zionist propaganda, and it is quite dangerous for Egypt, if the confusion is spread and the deception is believed.

The worst mistake for the current Egyptian government would be to continue its relationship with Israel, as if nothing happened. In fact, the borders with Israel must close for security reasons. No Israeli tourist must be accepted in Egypt.

The myth of the Israeli tourist in Egypt, particularly in Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera from Dahab to Qusseir, lasted too long and harmed the country too much in order to be still believed. There were never Israeli tourists in Egypt; there were Israeli secret services agents impersonating the tourists and acting accordingly under their inconspicuous apparel.

Imposing the state of emergency in North Sinai, closing the Gaza border, shutting the Israel border down, and canceling the arrival of all Israeli tourists are only preliminary measures.

The Egyptian government must soon take and rapidly implement two sets of measures, short term (up to 3-4 months) and medium term (5 months to 2 years)

Short term measures that Egypt must take in Sinai over the next 3-4 months

1- An increased military presence, disguised as local police or national security and gendarmerie, must put all parts of the Sinai Peninsula, inhabited and uninhabited, frequented and non-frequented, mountainous or not, accessible and inaccessible, under complete 24×7 controls and permanent patrolling. The force needed for this is at least equivalent to 500000 soldiers, and Egypt should be partly mobilized. (7 soldiers per km2 is a minimal prerequisite in this regard)

2- To better implement point 1 policy, thousands of military outposts will have to be erected and put into effect. They will have to be disguised as police outposts to allow the country to be in conformity with international treaties. The entire Sinai Peninsula will have thus to be turned to a vast military camp.

3- All homes, residences and buildings must be searched extensively, meticulously, unexpectedly and repeatedly, vast repertories must be made, all movements of individuals and all personal contacts monitored and registered, whereas all travels to and out of the area must be blocked for all.

4- Through use of all types of methods and technologies combined, all parts of the Sinai territory must be searched scrupulously and all possible underground depots and stores of arms and ammunition discovered. It is to be anticipated that huge caches of arms will be discovered in the process because the pernicious infiltration started many years ago.

5- The Egyptian navy will have to effectuate a maritime blockade of the Sinai Peninsula alongside both, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, coasts. Tourist movements from Hurghada to Sharm el Sheikh will have to be submitted to border-level baggage control, and the same measure will have to apply in all domestic and international flights for all passengers whatsoever. Fishing boats will have to be checked on daily basis.

6- A second ‘border’ line must be delineated and all tourist sites across Sinai’s western and eastern coasts (linked only through Suez to the rest of the country) must be totally cut off from the rest of the peninsula, all roads patrolled, individual tourism banned, and any movement between the two zones strictly prohibited. With the exception of St. Catherine’s monastery all other sightseeing destinations in the Sinai inland must be canceled. Only convoy movements must be allowed across the roads leading to St. Catherine’s monastery.

7- The Egyptian state authorities must have the absolute conviction that several thousands of Egyptian citizens originating from the Sinai Peninsula have been working for years as different level agents of the Zionist state; otherwise inevitably, Egypt will lose the battle of the Sinai and the country’s national integrity will be subsequently affected. This makes the following measure unavoidable. With the exception of the tourist resorts alongside the coasts and St. Catherine’s monastery, Internet connection and mobile communication must be suspended for time indefinite. This should apply to Rafah, Al Arish, and all other urban centers, hamlets, and locations.

8- With the exception of the tourist resorts alongside the coasts and St. Catherine’s monastery, no foreigner under any circumstances or pretexts whatsoever should be allowed to move across Sinai, involving diplomats, NGOS, representatives of international bodies, etc.

9- The Egyptian state authorities must have the absolute conviction that it is not only the Palestinians who are specializing in the construction of tunnel; the Zionist government has commissioned different agencies that offer job positions to unspecialized ‘Jewish’ labor from Russia and other countries, and they have also been working secretly for quite a long period. There are several Israeli tunnels crossing the Egyptian Sinai borders in greater depth than that of the Palestinian underground passages; the Israeli tunnels reach at distances of dozens of kilometers inside the Egyptian territory in the Sinai. Through these passageways, weaponry has been systematically smuggled into Egypt and laboriously stored in various caches in the desert and the mountains, Bedouins working as Mossad agents have moved into Israel for special training and then returned ‘home’, and Israeli forces specializing in guerilla and false flag attacks have repeatedly crossed the borders to perform their criminal acts and then run back to Israel and thus disappear.

To address this situation and make sure that nothing can be smuggled any more into their targeted country, the Egyptian authorities must undertake another project of enormous dimensions immediately. The army will only supervise the project, but a civil authority must be commissioned in this regard, and a great number of unspecialized jobless Egyptians (a hundred thousand as per modest estimates) will have to be ‘hired’ on temporary basis and with minimum salary (corvée) to form the utility teams that will materialize the enormous project.

Sinai peninsula

From Rafah to Ayn al Qusaymah to Al Kuntillah and thence to Taba, a huge trench must be dug with a length of more than 300 kilometers; with an initial width of 20 to 30 meters, the trench (or canal) should be at least 100 m deep to have the chance to reach/surpass the level of the Israeli underground passageways and make them useless. Work must start in many different points at the same time and the different utility teams that will be working in parallel will have to advance in two opposite directions in order to reach the points where other digging teams will have advanced to.

Meanwhile, the hinterland behind the trench should be systematically patrolled during the works as per above point 1.

Initially undertaken for security measures, and permanently maintained ever since, this project could later be upheld and the utility teams be further employed after the completion of the works to eventually turn the project to a second Suez Canal, linking Rafah to Taba.

The above short term measures must be taken immediately and carried out within a 3-4 month period with the only exception made for point 8 that will last longer. With the completion of the implementation of the above measures, national security and civil order will prevail, and this will involve the gradual alleviation or even termination of some of the aforementioned measures.

Then, the path will open for the roll-out of the medium term measures that will have meanwhile to be completed at the study level.

Medium term measures that Egypt must take in Sinai over the next 3-4 years

The Sinai Peninsula was never inhabited by settled populations in significant numbers throughout its entire millennia long history; to the Ancient Egyptians, it was known as Biau, i.e. the land of mines, and there were important temples, like Serabit al Khadim. Early writing systems have also been attested in parts of the peninsula; the vestiges of Proto-Sinaitic writing fully demonstrate that it was a derivative of the Egyptian Hieratic writing, used however not for the Ancient Egyptian language, but for the local Canaanite language that was spoken among the few inhabitants. Modern scholarship successfully identified significant historical mines across the peninsula, but this does not change in anything the reality that there has never been any major city, harbor, port of call, entrepot, market place, trading center or caravan stopover in Sinai. Its name derived from that of the Ancient Assyrian Babylonian god Sin, who symbolized the moon, epitomized the peninsula’s rather inhospitable character.

Scarcity of population, borderline area, mountainous environment, semiarid zones, and the heavy burden of history are dimensions of the Sinai Peninsula identity that have impacted modern Egyptian attitude toward the triangular geographic oddity of Sinai.

Now, to save its targeted province, Egypt is called to change History.

Viewing the Egyptian governmental policies retrospectively, one has to admit that the successive Mubarak administrations must be credited for having slightly modified the Egyptian attitude toward Sinai, and this was expressed through the rise of the tourism industry. Viewed from the exclusive standpoint of money income, this policy was not bad, but if one takes into consideration the existing geopolitical challenges, one has to conclude that Mubarak administrations’ view of the Sinai was narrow-minded, shriveled, and therefore dangerous.

Finally, Mubarak administrations’ laissez faire ended up in the explosive situation that we have got in our hands today.

To counterbalance the existing challenges and hedge the imminent dangers in Sinai, Egypt needs only a visionary’s look over the country’s problems. In fact, Sinai, as it is now, offers an excellent opportunity to Egypt’s administrations to solve – to some extent – other serious problems of the Nile Valley and the Delta.

Today’s Egypt, even considered as deprived of enemies, threats and challenges, has very serious problems, and at the top of the list one finds the overpopulation of a small stretch of land, the Valley of Nile. With over 90 million people almost all condensed in the small narrow valley of the Nile and the Delta (much less than 10% of the country’s territory), Egypt faces one of the world’s most explosive demographics. This does not bode well for the future of any country.

The measure of a medium and long term success hinges only on changing the following, lethally perilous demographics assessment; with an estimated 75% of Egyptians being under 25 and with a meager 3% being over 65, the country’s population lives on a small part of the country’s territory (ca. 6%) whereby the density average is over 1540 persons per km2. This cannot last longer.

The gravity of the situation is revealed here:

The best defensive line that Egypt can draw across Sinai is the transformation of the peninsula into a remarkably inhabited province. New cities have to be built, semiarid territories have to become arable cultivated lands, and basically urban populations must be transferred from Cairo, the Delta, and Upper Egypt to Sinai. Factories must be transferred; universities must be relocated; the necessary transportation, habitation, and telecommunication infrastructure must be made available; new businesses, new manufactures, and systematic cattle management must be planned and launched in every single corner of the peninsula, and no less that 5-6 million people must be transferred from the aforementioned areas to the Sinai within a period of 3-4 years, following a 6-month planning session.

It has to be carefully planned and programmed with a perspective of population expansion up to 15-20 million, involving new cities, towns and villages in the coast lands, in the semiarid desert, and in the mountains. Furthermore, it has to be forcefully implemented, involving motivations and stimuli that will mark very differently the lives of the transferred populations, making of them the new elite of the country.

If there were today 6 million Egyptians living across Sinai, one can be sure that never ever would the Zionist state elaborate annexation plans and attempt to implement them. Massive population transfer to the Sinai is a medium-long term measure, which may irrevocably egyptianize the Egyptian territory before it is lost forever.

In a forthcoming article, I will examine what other measures the current Egyptian administration has to envisage for the country’s future in order to fully eliminate the grave problems that it inherited from earlier colonial and postcolonial, lethargic or unrealistic rulers of either the vice-royal or the republican times.

STUDY CAREFULLY

A map for the Egyptian administration to study closely (and the related texts: http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/kovach/091013). In this case, historical accuracy matters little; what is important to seize in this regard is that there are people (and lobbies, associations, secret organizations, etc. standing behind them) who utterly believe in this type of distortions and falsehood. These are the people who have the power and shape the real decisions that presidents and prime ministers only implement. Of course, statesmen and politicians will turn down the importance of such people and of their ideas. But if we examine things from distance and through the perspective of centuries (and not that of years or months), we will immediately realize that such plans have been worked out in the wider region, and that the local, pseudo-Islamic, and utterly silly religious authorities and the idiotic rulers, like Saddam Hussein, Qadhafi, Hafez and Bashar al Assad, Hassan II and Mohammed VI of Morocco, Bourguiba, Zin Al Abedin, Abdallah of Jordan, Buteflika, Abdallah of Saudi Arabia, Ali Abdallah, Hosni Mubarak, and Omar Al Bashir – and their services – failed to detect, let alone assess, evaluate and outmaneuver them.
